PhD students Timotej Žuntar, Leonard de Causmaecker, and Katrine Eskildsen from the Biophotonic Sensing Group at Lund University took part in the InsectAI BionicBlitz 2026, held at the Marburg University Botanical Gardens in Germany from June 1–3. They presented the group’s entomological lidar—an optical instrument for monitoring insects in the wild—demonstrating the hardware to participants and the public.
