These prestigious grants will fund groundbreaking work on the HyperSense project, which aims to develop the next generation of hyperspectral LiDAR—compact systems capable of providing real-time, full-waveform lidar data across hundreds of spectral bands (200 nm – 2600 nm). This technology will revolutionize insect ecology and biodiversity research by offering unprecedented insights into species detection and environmental monitoring.
